I know...2 food postings in a row. I'll get back to normal stuff here shortly, but I wanted to share the BIZARRE fruit with you. I bought it last week as part of my 'TRY NEW THINGS FROM THE PRODUCE DEPARTMENT' phase.

This poor ugly piece of fruit is DELICIOUS. The seeds are crunchy and the texture is similar the the inside of a grape. Sweet and crunchy, I ate ALL OF IT! I think it might be a type of passion fruit, but I'm not sure. There weren't any tags, and I couldn't understand what the cashier said.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS?
Anyone else feeling adventurous to try new things from the produce department? It's actually pretty fun to push your comfort zone with new foods.

yeah its gotta be a passion fruit it has the same weird feeler things inside! i have never seen one like that before though

I think it's a passion fruit as well the insides look right but the outside is the wrong colour. But you are definantly game my dear if I opened that and had no idea what it was I wouldnt have touched it.

wow, if that is a passionfruit it is the most pale one I have ever seen!

i am always trying new stuff here...but unfortunately im coming to the conclusion that norwegian food is not that great. oh well :)
i love trying new fruit! for christmas when i was young our stockings were always full of exotic fruit and nuts instead of candy and toys and I loved it!
