BLOGGER MEET UP!

Thursday night was my BIG MEET-UP with blogger Ms. Tanya from the Sassynerd . As you can imagine, I was both excited and a touch nervous since this was an entirely new thing for me.

We met at The Pink Door (which I've previously written a guest post about. You can read about this fabulous burlesque style restaurant/lounge HERE) we CLICKED INSTANTLY.  Tanya is genuinely sweet, funny, gorgeous and all around lovely!

Our energy seemed to draw others to us, and we met interesting people all night. People were INTRIGUED about our story, and loved that we were meeting for the first time in person. We could have said we were CURING CANCER and received the same response. Interesting, right?

We had an amazing night and the time literally FLEW BY. Thanks Tanya for the fun night - there will more of those in our future. Readers are you feeling left out on the details? Sorry kittens, blogger meet-up SECRETS.

Seattle has been so much fun. There seems to be a fashion downfall though. Some people that I thought were HOMELESS actually bust out $2000 laptops from their grocery sack. Oh .....the techie population. Part homeless, part brilliant - ZERO fashion sense.

It's been raining non-stop - of course. With MACE in hand, I trek along dodging raindrops. Its really not at creepy as it looks.

Big sis Susan getting ready and is not pleased I chose this particular photo. She crashed with me last night and we're going to spend the day shopping in Fremont (a funky eclectic district near downtown).

The crap city view from my hotel room

Unfortunately, there is  serial killer stairway next to my door.
Why wouldn't they paint it or do 'something' to make it less scary?
Enjoy your day kittens! I'm off to drink coffee, eat clam chowder and empty my wallet with Susan. Pure Bliss!
xoxo

Take plenty of pictures on your shopping extravaganza with your sister, heck even take pictures of the great food you'll all be getting.

Looks like you had a lot of fun. I am glad Mike and I were able to share travel stories with you before your meet-up. We did not make it to Il Bistro (closed for renovations but we did fine Alibi Room & Gum Wall (equally amusing. Hope you had a nice Vets day and it was nice to meet you (and your blog!)

The Pink Door sounds like a good time and how cool that you guys clicked, that friggin rocks! I think Portland also suffers from that homeless look accompanied by the the macbook pro. I don't like it much.
Have fun shopping!
