Fashion Faux Pas.

Bad news everyone. Man capris are showing up in Europe. And not just any kind of man capris: these are the stone washed, bad pocket nightmares. Lets hope this trend doesn't make it to the states.

Honey, I think you should wear your capris today.

Wow. Black socks too?

And finally, I keep seeing these pants in ALL of the stores. Welcome back to the 80's with a pair of pleated, drop-front pants with a bulky tie belt. Yes, they are narrow at the ankle too. Basically your 'ADD 10lbs LOOK'.

You know that day when you just feel TOO SKINNY AND YOU WANT TO LOOK HEAVIER? These are the pants you reach for.

I found these striped tights and sweater dress from H&M. I LOVED it at first, but then I started to think about a STREET MIME - too black and white. What do you think?????

Street mime... you are so funny! I would have never thought of that, Still... you're much prettier than a street mime. ;)

Man Capris eh? Somehow I'm having a hard time imagining Scott in a pair. It kind of scares me a little bit actually.

Kristen's comment cracked me UP above about blogger.

Yea, man capris are ridiculous. I mean c'mon... seriously.

I don't think you look bad at all in that, but I agree with Claudia...I'd probably wear them separately! But I loveeee the tights!

Hope you're having a great day!

I love the dress - super cute.

I totally dated a french man who wore colored capris - he was so dreamy looking, I overlooked it. (I won't even mention the color out of my own embarrassment). Not cool then, and these guys in the photos - they look ridiculous

Oh my goodness, I've been seeing them everywhere too! Ugh. If my phone took pics (I have a stupid prepaid German one), I would take those pics with you...terrible. You look cute though!

I like the dress and the tights but please don't put them together. You will look like a black and white where is waldo. They are cute separate.

You girls are so funny! I think we are all same page for man capris. And if there any guys out there reading my blog, STEP AWAY from the capris or any type of pants that hit between the knee and ankle. We don't like them.

EXCEPTION: white linen pants with a draw string waist that are are loosely rolled up. Totally different.

I am dying to find out the color of these capris THE EXPATRIATE is referring to. I'll be sending her a private email begging her to come clean ;)

I read the comments and so far the majority on the strped combo outfit is.........YES, I look like a MIME and should wear them as separates. What if I wore a thin black floaty cardigan with it?

Ok - I'll come clean they were the mother of all capri colors - pink! I swear to god, I'll see if I can find a photo around here somewhere and link up to it for you all to laugh in unison. His delicious french cooking and accent totally blinded me.

Oh the trend is in Asia, too! My husband refers to them as "Japris" when they're jeans. I am not a fan when I see Japanese men running around in their japris!

I like the tights! I bet they would look super cute with something a little less stripey. But I don't know. Looks like you could almost pull off the mime look! ;)
